  • 20 Dekagram (dkg) Pasta pappardelle
  • 2 Table spoon (tbsp) Oil
  • 1 Tea spoon (tsp) Black pepper
  • 3 Peck Salt
  • 1 Table spoon (tbsp) Sugar
  • 1 Table spoon (tbsp) Icing sugar

Method

This is a delicious sweet and spicy cabbage noodle, traditional pasta food in southern Hungary. First grater the cabbage like cheese salt it and set aside for 10-15 minutes. Twist the juice and start to roast on oil. When getting browned add sugar and caramelize, add the pepper too. Meanwhile bring to boil salt water and cook the pasta pappardelle al-dente. Drain the pasta and mix with roasted cabbage. Serve hot with icing sugar on top of cabbage noodles.
