This sauce is wonderful with beef stake or spare ribs, serve with steamed or roasted pork which perfectly fit to this milky sauce. Here you will slightly cook the fresh horseradish so the flavour will be much more soft and tasteful compared to the sauce made with pickled horseradish and sour cream. First heat the oil and make a light roux with flour. Remove from heat and in small portions add the warm milk and stir constantly. Place to the heat back and bring to the boil stir once in a while. Than add the sugar, salt, lemon juice and horseradish and cook it 10 minutes until the flavors come together. Serve warm with grilled meat or have a cheap dinner with fried eggs.
