  • 4 Table spoon (tbsp) apricot jam
  • 3 Table spoon (tbsp) sugar
  • 3 Table spoon (tbsp) icing sugar (for serving)

This is a very easy recipe because the puff pastry is available in frozen so you dont need to prepare the crust. First cut in half the apples and remove the seeds from the middle, than cut thin slices as you can. Put tis apple into a glass bolw, add enough water which cover it, add the juice of an orange and put microwave oven for 5-10 minutes. The time depends on how easy becomes soft the apple. Important that you dont need to cook but it has to be enough soft to roll itt, so check the apple after 5 minutes.
Roll out the pastry thinly – about 3mm and cut approx 4x15 cm sheets and grease with apricot jam, bestrew with granulated sugar. Than put the apple slices on the middle of puff pastry and roll it. For more instruction check How to apple rose cake. Cover with baking paper a baking form and insert the roses in it not too tight. Bake it for 30 minutes (till the pastry getting browned) on 180 Celsius degree. Best to serve in hot, hint the top of with icing sugar. Cinnamon also fit to apple cake, you may mix the icing sugar a teaspoon of cinnamon at the serving.
