  • 50 Dekagram (dkg) flour
  • 250 Millilitre (ml) milk
  • 100 Millilitre (ml) oil
  • 3 Dekagram (dkg) yeast
  • 1 Tea spoon (tsp) sugar
  • 1 Tea spoon (tsp) salt
spicy topping
  • 2 Tea spoon (tsp) sweet paprika grounded
  • 1 Tea spoon (tsp) salt
  • 1 Tea spoon (tsp) thyme
  • 1 Tea spoon (tsp) garlic powder

This pastry wreath is very attractive, best ot prepare if you have a party. Easy to prepare and kids love also. However if you like you can add some chili powder to the topping also. First take 1 dl tepid milk and mix with yeast and sugar and set aside for 5-10 minutes. Than mix the flour, salt, yeast mixture, the milk and oul in a large bowl. Knead a dough and let it rise to double amount on a warm place it takes approx 40 minutes. Prepare a floured board and roll out the dough approx 1-2 cm. Cut equal stipes and make equal twist and rounds, put on a baking paper covered pan. Let it rise only 10 minutes.

spicy topping

Mix the salt, sweet paprika, thyme and garlic and strew the top of wreath. Bake them in a preheated oven 5 minutes on 180 Cgrad and than reduce the heat to 160 grad and bake more 15 minutes. Best to serve warm with drink as a welcoming food. It can be a perfect gift also if you arrive to a party.
