Red onion pickles
  • 2 Piece red onion
  • 2 Table spoon (tbsp) vinegar
  • 1 Table spoon (tbsp) sugar
  • 1 Tea spoon (tsp) salt
  • 1 Decilitre (dl) water

Slice the onion and put into a bowl and salt it. After 5 minutes add the sugar and vinegar and water. Mix it and put into refrigerator for an hour. Stir it sometimes to melt the sugar. I used to serve to boiled potato and sausage.
