DIY Flower bib necklace

Make this beautiful bib necklace with simple project. You may use waste materials and takes only few steps, in return you will get a unique necklace.

Some women prefer delicate and subtle necklaces, while other wear them as fashion statements and eye catching jewelry. Bib necklaces are perfect for achieving the more showy pieces. Big, yet elegant in their own way, depending on their style, bib necklaces can be suitable for any occasion. However, their size makes them a price jewelry, so why not make some yourself, using everyday materials? Don’t worry about your homemade bib necklace looking cheap. 


You will need:

  • Assorted glass gems, pearls
  • Scissors
  • Fabric glue, glue gun
  • Felt fabric for base
  • Cords in different colours
  • Ribbon and lace in desired colour
  •  

Steps:

  • Cut different sized cord strips and prepare the felt for base.
  • Spin the flowers from cord strips and bend the lace.
  • Arrange cord flowers and lace on fabric foundation, starting at center and working out. Plane the final appearance.
  • Carefully coat back of each flower with glue and adhere to fabric. Push and let dry.
  • Using sharp scissors, carefully cut away extra fabric.
  • Cut lace ribbon into enough length to neck tie, keeping in mind that these pieces will determine the length of your necklace. Glue back of necklace and place the ribbon to each end of fabric for ties.
